Pretty sure it's a permanent adhesive. I haven't been persuaded to do this yet - Worried what it looks like installed (close up around the edges where it wraps or maybe doesn't wrap?) and if the added thickness affects the sealing of the soft top at all - even a little may allow water egress.

Ivanivnk,

We're happy to hear that you love this! You have various options on fitting it, if you plan to remove these pieces in the future you can use partial double sided tape. If you want a more permanent hold we recommend a 2 part epoxy that usually has a work time to cure or you can use clear silicone but takes longer to cure and needs to sit for a short period to cure.

We understand your concerns. They are 100% valid.

We have been working with this manufacturer since they started manufacturing Carbon Fiber products years ago. In the very beginning fitment and finish was an issue at times. We addressed this with them when they came to see us and spend time with us at our California facility years back. At that time they were opening up a new, state of the art facility and assured us things would drastically change.

We then took time to meet with them in person in Italy and evaluate their new samples. Once we seen the fit, finish and over product sample we decided to expand our relationship and offer more of their products.

Since that time (years ago) fitment and overall finish was top notch. We have not had any complaints about fitment or overall finish. The only complaint we at times get is the wait that the customer may sometimes have due to the current product being sold out. Sometimes a couple of weeks of wait can seen like a lifetime. :-)

We stock a significant amount of their product and do our best to keep everything in stock. We also install on premises and have installed just about every one of their products on 4c cars that have and continue to come to our location.

Their entire product line is now autoclave, so the fit and finish has been fantastic. We have not have any issues with fitment on their products since their new production facility started operating (couple of years ago). With that said careful installation is still the key to getting things to look right.

Just take your time, mask the areas around the part you are installing and use good quality adhesive and you should be fine.

As always if you have a question or need assistance do not hesitate to call us.
