I'm now confused. I'm about to pull the trigger on the madness cf cover. Who is eduard and is it of a better quality? I so know madness' is $750 and I'm ordering now but would rather save $ of course.

Can you she'd some light into this 360tom?

Eduard is Eduard Pogea who owns PogeaRacing in Germany. I believe his carbon cover does away with the original star clips, instead using threaded pins and screw-on fasteners. Much better than the original star clip method. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I would have bought his but for a good deal I got from Andre at Squadra. I didn't know about the pin length problem at the time.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Just to clarify a little about the difference in quality. And so you know the price won't be dependent on 20 orders. If we we 20 on board, we can get them for $680.

1st - All of the POGEA Carbon Covers are made in Germany and use aluminum tooling for the process. For precision.

2nd - The clear coat used on the POGEA Cover is the same clear coat Koenigsegg uses for their cars.

3rd - The Carbon Fiber that is cooler is not full Carbon Fiber. This is Fiberglass inlayed into the Carbon weave. These sheets of material are usually 1/5th the price of real Carbon Cloth. There is no reason at all this should be an uncharge.

4th - You can get twill Fish(Like that in the Pagani, Lamborghini, BMW CSL or Koenigsegg. You could technically choose between Fish and Regular 1D cloth.

5th - All of the POGEA Racing Carbon Covers have a holographed POGEA RACING image that shows it's authenticity.

6th - All products will be shipped from California from a Certified POGEA RACING Agent. Socal residents can locally pick it up if your in a hurry or if be, I can meet you on a weekend and deliver it personally.

If you want a custom built cover, please inquire with a PM. With custom options, you can use 220g 2K Carbon Cloth, 830G 3K and Pagaini and Mansory's Carbon weaves. This would be a 10-25% increase in price due to the fact, the mesh is much harder to paint. For true custom colors, you would use aramid or kevlar. I'll pull some shots of the internet to display what the Pagani and Aramid weaves look like.

That's the difference with Koshi, it's made in Kosovo and does not have to adhere to any copyright or registered trademark infringements. Which is typically why they are cheaper than most.

Here's an example of one of Pogea covers I've found on the forum.

Do the weaves meet in the middle like in the picture? The other covers are all symmetrical in direction.

I'd rather pay more to another vendor than deal with Pogea ever again.

That is great when one decides to hold on to one's principles. However 360Tom's group buy effort is now being negatively affected by your distaste of the manufacturer. Opening a can of worms here to directly affect everyone's opportunity to buy a product at a lower price is a benefit you are taking away from people.

Read the beginning of EC's ecu thread. There was some back and forth accusations and drama regarding two competing ecu mods and the consensus was that Mr. pogea has a bad attitude (put mildly).

The quality of Pogea's products is not in question but his character is and a lot of people do not like him.
