I disagree if the website is correct. It looks like the Phase 2 is the same price as the Phase 1. That is, we could've waited and picked up a Phase 2 ECU for the same price as the Phase 1. If that is the case, I feel taken advantage of for believing in the company and being an early adopter. Other companies/platforms offer increasing stages for free. Heck, APR on my MK7 GTI platform, one of the most consistently expensive tuners in the industry, cut the early adopters a deal for their MK7 GTI tune and offered a stage 2 upgrade for free to early stage 1 purchasers. I am not saying that EC should do this, although I certainly wouldn't complain, but am saying that they should not penalize faithful customers with their pricing schemes.

Perhaps the website is not optimized or I am otherwise incorrect. I certainly hope so. Chris, if I am out of line please let me know.

Sorry to be pedantic but it's a 'Spider' not a 'Spyder'. The latter is normally used when describing a non Italian drop top, eg Porsche/

The upgrade price for current phase 1 users is $249.99, please re-read the website. It is one of the drop-down menu options. You purchase that option and send your ECM back for re-calibration. I think the price is fair for 3-4 months of work and testing. Phase 2 is priced at the same rate as phase 1 for new users, since it requires the same amount of work and hardware as phase 1.

We do offer factory software upgrades at no cost. I'm sorry if you think its unfair but it takes a certain amount of highly skilled labor to do what we do especially in a small market like this. If the market was as large as the VW market we would offer it for free.

Correct still awaiting the blasted brackets to arrive. Its probably my fault since I wanted the bracket to have our logo in it, which requires a bit more time on the water jet table.

There is generally a 2-4% performance difference between 91-93 octane and that is dependent on ambient temps and load cycles.

The V2 intakes will be available shortly. Still awaiting the brackets to arrive.
