Waiting on some cables, then I will bite the bullet and give it a whirl, maybe a couple of weeks, but I'm fairly certain it can be turned off without issue.

I have used this software on the Abarths and it works well, you should be able to turn off the Airbag without a problem.

You should be able to turn off the seatbelt chime also!

Where exactly is the option to turn off the airbag? I can't find it

Ok, I got the interface and A3 adapter, subscribed to Multiscanecu, actually configured the interface to work, which in itself is totally awesome. Hooked her up, turned it on and voila, I was in with no drama. Explored a little, especially trying to find a clue for my euro tail light dilemma, then found the Deactivate Seat Belt Alarm option, in the BCM module, highlighted it, hit execute, I think it asked me to confirm my selection, which I did, after a few seconds got a screen stating Completed. I haven't driven it to test it, but I'm certain it worked. One of those days, feeling confident.

I'm really interested in this product. Keep us posted.

"subscribed to Multiscanecu": Will this data reader not work without an active subscription that you pay for?

Will work in a limited fashion, but shuts off at 20 minutes in free mode. On the website, Multiecuscan.net there is a chart that indicates what each version is capable of.

I have the Deactivated Seat Belt Alarm, no problem at all.

You mean you still have problem with the euro light? have you tried proxy alignment?

I'm not seeing that particular option in the menu, I'm still kind of new to this, perhaps I'm missing something. I don't see it as an option in the Proxy alignment tab is what I meant. Fran

It is under "body". I am no expert on this, you may want to do some research.

But the software will tell you if you don't need to perform proxy alignment.Basically it tells the car there a new module is installed (like a new Air bag module)
